P e r s o n a l i t y
Studious - Mink loves to learn. She loves scrolls, studying, all of it! So she spends a lot of her time with her nose in a scroll, or out taking notes on all the plants and animals she could find.
Cheerful - She's pretty reserved but when she is in a social mood she's generally pretty upbeat. She likes to make others smile and laugh and it takes a lot to make her angry or upset.
Caring - Mink likes to see the best in other dragons. She's always happy to put her needs second and take care of her friends if they need it.

Introverted - As upbeat as she is, Mink likes her alone time. She likes the quiet and calm without other dragons around her and generally will need some quiet time after being with her friends for a while.
Relaxed - Mink can often be a little too chilled out. She doesn't take offence easily and sometimes entirely misses that others are making fun of her. It comes with benefits - that's how she rarely gets upset - but it also makes her seem a bit ditsy.
Inquisitive - You got a cool new thing? You bet Mink is sticking her snout in it to find out what it is. Secrets, new pets, she'll stick her nose in everything. Great for studying. Not so great for making friends.

Tactless - Mink doesn't always think before she speaks and while she'll always try to apologize if she's upset someone it doesn't always work out in her favour.
Lazy - Studying is great, but do you know what's better? Food and naps. Mink would happily spend all day everyday not moving, lying in a pool of mud, snoozing, reading and eating, if she ever had the chance.
Messy - If you're sharing a sleeping cave with her well...good luck. She's not very organised and constantly leaves scrolls scattered around to 'tidy up later'.

H i s t o r yNewborn
Mink was one of three in her hatching. Her brother, Crayfish, and her sister, Stream, have been closer to each other than her for as long as she can remember but she's never really minded. They all still love each other dearly and it meant they could go play in the mud while she was left in peace to read or explore the forests around the marshes.
She was also born with a minor amount of hearing loss. She can still hear any noises up close okay but if too many dragons are talking at once, or you're talking from more than a few feet away she really struggles to make out words.

Dragonet
As soon as she was old enough to write, Mink has been documenting everything she finds on scrolls which she keeps safe in a satchel. Some of them are dotted with mud, and her older ones are almost illegible as she learned to write, but she loves them all the same. She's hoping one day she can condense everything and her scrolls might even make it into a library!
She and her sibs heard of the Jade Mountain Academy from other dragonets. None of them were interested at first, but after a little thinking Mink warmed up to the idea of studying somewhere new - think of all the new plants and animals she might see in a mountain! So when she and her sibs were invited to the school she immediately accepted. Her siblings didn't but she still writes to them all the time, telling them about everything happening to her.
