I´m gonna go ahead and assume Velvet´s gonna beat the sh*t outta Pit, take a pic of his weapon, wait for him to regain consciousness and then beat him again, this time with his own weapon.

Well, you know what people say about assumptions. From what I've seen of Velvet in rwby, she didn't come off as someone who would brutalize a kid for a simple remark since she had to endure a lot worse from actual bullies. That sounds more like something Yang would do. Also, the outcome of the fight would depend on whether you're talking about Smash Bros Pit or Uprising Pit.

I´ve heard a couple times that these images are based on some kind of AU where everyone is kinda more murder-y for whatever reason, so I´m pretty sure she´d at least try and beat the crap out of him.

I know, it's based on the telltale games of Injustice, which is based on Mortal Kombat. Funny how despite all the gory and brutal finishers in those games no one actually dies from the fights themselves unless the death is by a cutscene.

Technically, they could be considered not real since Pit is limited to 5 minutes of actual flying with a goddess' help or his wings catch fire.
