Description

Handler name: Stella

Akota Import: War Dog 36612

Prompt: Unlike all other previously known breeds of Tokota, Akotas are still completely wild - they are new and untried, completely non-domestic. As such, they do not tend to take well to the trappings and tack that standard, dwarf, and dire tokotas do. Depict your handler attempting to put tack on their Akota.

mannnnnn I truly wish i could even begin to fathom how you create your pieces.  it's just so amazing and detailed yet painterly and i just don't even have the words to describe how much your work gets to me.

Yesss, I'm so pumped to see you uploading here again, Kep!

As always, this piece came out wonderfully! I love how you do composition with buildings so much. I always find city/urban environments to be really tricky, but you made it look so natural! I never knew I wanted to see an Akota in a city, but now I know I need to see more of it. You made him seem so small but so intimidating at the same time, I love it! Also all of those textures are just to die for.

Have you ever read the graphic novel "Low?" I feel like you would really like it. Your style packs a lot more punch, I think, but some of the visual storytelling elements have the same vibe.

The textures in this piece are just great, and it's so neat to see an akota in an urban environment. Love the composition and the kind of 'soviet' feel to the outfit and tack!

(Replying on my main account because I can't be bothered to change windows, apparently.)

Thanks so much. Yeah, I was definitely going for "eerily oppressive militant society" with this. Wanted it to look very pleasant, and then you see the uniform and realize that something's... off, if that makes sense.

I'll definitely have to check it out!

The plot of Low is kind of garbage, but the art definitely has its charm.

Love hearing a bit more about what you were thinking. So impressed (and a little jealous) by how much you convey in your pieces, storytelling wise!
