LOVE it. And, because I'm curious, where did you hear the name was Taro? It's the same name I've been using for years.

The evil wizard shouts it at the end of the movie when Sinbad and his crew fight the dragon with the giant crossbow on their ship. He's all like "Kill, Taro! Kill!" and Taro's like "Raahr! *tongue flick*"

I believe I might have looked it up? I love reading all about things, especially since a lot of stuff may not be immediately evident from an audience member's point of view.

Gosh that is some gorgeous colors on there. Line-work and shading is so spot on too. Interesting note....I never did understand what the magician was saying when I was a kid. Remind you that was on old vhs of the movie I had. For years I just thought he kept yelling at the dragon to just "follow". Didn't know what it's actual name was for years.

I believe I read up on the dragon's name somewhere. For me, my first experience with this movie was when my father first invested in buying our family a piece of relatively new technology, a DVD player. As a child, much of the plot was lost on me, but it managed to impress upon me my complete love of the medium. My profession and experience continues to give me an even greater appreciation for the film as a whole, and it will continue to be one of my all time favorites.

Thank you. This movie was one of my favorites as a kid; my dad and I really bonded over it.

I think that old films like the Sinbad voyages and other Ray Harryhausen creations are an essential part of any childhood.

Thank you. While I feel I could have done better, I still learnt a lot from doing this piece.
