As the name implies, it makes certain monster "types" go extinct.

This is true. I never intended for the different Card Series (Halo Cards & Xenomorph Cards) to have to battle each other. But the immunity would still work, as it is a wierd und rare exception to the rule.

Ya, it's one of those "commit genocide against everything except 1 type" cards. Also, Sentinels can't be infested by the Flood, so they don't need to be destroyed.
