It takes more than 5 plasma grenades to kill, and in Halo 2, there are no flamethrowers.

Well, they spawn at the beginning of "High Charity", and you've only got a Carbine and a Plasma Pistol. With no power weapons around, they are really tough. No headshots. Also, they spawn usually in groups of two or three. One hit kills.
