Description
Laccaria amethystina is quite distinct mushroom with its violet color. It is textbook example of unmistakeable species, there just isn't another mushroom, that looks like this. I should mention, that it is also edible, so one of the safest mushrooms to pick, but almost nobody does that. I'm kinda guessing on that last bit, because I see them in large numbers everywhere and knowing people, if they knew this was edible, there would be significantly less of them.
