Description

I bring you yet another really fancy, colorful specimen. This time it's a ground beetle Harpalus honestus. Ground beetles generally tend to have neutral colors, primarily black, brown or copper, with some exceptions much like what you see depicted here. Carabus intricatus is another one, Carabus auronitens is even more splendid and last but by no means least the Cincidella campestris has really nice green and purple colors as well. It was crossing some dirth path I was walking on. I could've easily missed it, but I didn't and that's what's most important.
