I don't usually focus on butterflies, but I love swallowtails, so if I see one, I have to take picture of it. And recently I got lucky and found both species, that live in my country in one place, this guy, an Old World swallowtail (Papilio machaon), was one of them, the other was scarce swallowtail, which is significantly rarer here. It took well over 30 minutes and a bit of a sunburn before I even got a chance to photograph them, but it paid off.
Last time I posted a picture of an Old World swallowtail I wasn't very happy with it. This one is much better.
