I tend to have terrible luck with either not finding the species I want to present, find them dead or alternatively finding them in their larval stage. Such was the case for Polyphylla fullo (pine chafer) thus far, I kept finding their elytra and every now and then a head, but then I flipped over some branches and found their grubs. It's really a shame, because it's very unusual looking beetle.
