Description

I've found a little place, where I can meet these tiny guys on a regular basis. It's the same birch log, where I found this lovely Carabus intricatus And when I say they're tiny I mean really tiny. They typically reach size of 4-6mm, but they're lovely. You might have noticed, that this fellow looks a bit like a ladybug, that's because they are part of the same family. For those interested in what species this is, it's Endomychus coccineus.

Anyway, this was an excellent practice for my Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra-Macro lens, which I haven't really done much with so far. But this opens up so many possibilities. As usual, this is a stacked image, but I have forgotten how many layers this picture is from.
