Description
Eurydema oleracea or a cabbage bug is very distinct looking shield bug, that is hard to mistake for another due to its pattern, not so much the colour. That's because the spots can be orange, like this example, or they can be white, yellow, red or even green. As its name suggests, it is a pest, that feeds on not just cabbage, but on flowering parts of other cultivated plants, such as rapeseed, causing damage to them. But it's beautiful.Related content
