Description
This is another old picture and I have to say, this particular rove beetle (Philonthus atratus) while not the most vibrantly coloured, has one of the most amazing sculpture on its elytra. It's also surprisingly hairy.
Sunlit walls are the most perfect places for shooting random insects. Provided they aren't in the middle of a city, but on the outskirts, somewhere close to nature.
