Description
This is a truly interesting picture, especially if we consider that the larger beetle on the right (Clerus mutillarius) is a voracious predator and such tiny guy (Bostrichus capucinus) wouldn't be much of a challenge for it. And yet they were just sitting next to each other in peace, but I suspected that the Clerus was simply waiting for the right moment to strike. And I decided to intervene and flicked the Clerus off, because I liked the red guy too much.
