Description
8 frame run cycle of my rat lynx fursonano reference used.
Tried to use a soft colour palette , but ma'n spots are hard to animate haha.
her tail looks weird but whatever
her back legs could use a bit more oomf too.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO CRITIQUE:
please don't just say, the tail looks stiff
or the head is off
because that is not helpful and not something i don't already know,
instead link me to a tutorial or example or something that will help .
I don't learn well from written but more visual ...so urm yes.

i really like the consistency and the smooth movement but if i make an educated critique?
I have no intention of offending you.
when rats run their front paw do not meet up with their back paws so really when they run its more of really fast hops. and the back paws should be a great deal size larger then the front.
i hope this will help in any way, again no offense it looks really good, these are just pointers and tips for if you have plans on making another run cycle. and i understand the fact that she is part cat ><;

How do you make to conserve the colors and details of the character?
I always suck...

Okay
How do you conserve the details of the design?
I mean...let's use as exemple ur character here.She has those black details on her and i want to know how to conserve them in each frame.When i'm praticing animation on MS Paint this fact always litter my work

this one here was done using flash 8 portable however these were done using paint and a gif animator to put the frames together in:

so really it depends on what you want from it what you use

It looks like the frames are out of order, The legs meet, and then it sorta looks like she trips before she goes along, like one of the frames was flipped. Or at the least that one was duplicated. I might look at each frame individually near where the legs meet.

none of the frames are duplicates and all are drawn separate, are you sure its not lagging?
I mean are all 8 frames showing at the right time because I know animations can glitch like that.

Hmm, I personally think since her back legs are bigger than her front, she should have more of a hop to her step,

Augh, for some reason it's not working for me. I only see like three frames and then it just stops completely ;___;

Amazing as always! (:
The only thing except those you mentioned would be.... The back leg closest to the viewer. When it flicks up, it should behave like the tail, and flop a little.
Gosh I'm terrible at explaining, can someone else who sees this say it more clearly?
