((Oh my gosh, Sivivi, I am terribly sorry. Losing a close friend, even a mentor, is one of the hardest things to go through in life.

It's difficult to understand why people die. Yes, there's the physical aspect of it ("oh, he got in a car accident" or "he had a stroke") but we as people have trouble grasping why these things happen to those we love. Nobody knows, nobody will probably ever know.

I'm not a very religious person but I like to think there is something that happens to us after we die, a special place that we congregate. In that case, it comforts me that I will be able to see those I have lost in the future again and I will live my life to the fullest so that I have something to leave behind when it is my turn. I think those who watch us from above would like to see that progression. They are in a place free from hurt, free from worry, free from generally everything.

It can take a long time to heal. I'm still in the process of recovering from my friend's death three months ago. It's okay to be upset, even angry, at this time. It's okay to ask questions.

My mom's friend gave me this box a few years ago to put things I hope for or think about inside. After my friend died, I put a picture of the two of us from elementary school in it. Maybe keeping a special box in your room to put an item that reminded you of Mr. Wolf in will help. Then, over time, you can add more things into the box like good test grades, slips of paper from fortune cookies, drawings...))
