Description
The Areon Jets are a series of jet-like robots, made by Areobotics Inc., that come in a wide variety of makes and models, each one being used for a different purpose. Velocity is a slightly modified Mark 1. The Mark 1 was created to be used in combat, it is equipped with category one drone A.I., high-speed thrusters located in its head and feet, and a chest-mounted rapid repeating tri-laser. Velocity is equipped with these as well, but he possesses category three self-aware A.I.. He was retrieved by scrappers after a large battle waged on the Squeatex, and was eventually sold to Victor Elone, an up and coming roboticist on Ocreon. Victor took pity on the bot and decided to repair and upgrade it, making it into a passion project of his that would end up taking nearly four months to finish. After those four long months were finally over, Victor re-activated the robot, and dubbed it "Velocity." From there on out, the bot acted as Mr. Elone's personal friend and companion, or at least that was the case, until Velocity had a run-in with a bounty hunter, who went by "Rex", who told Velocity that he'd make for an excellent bounty hunter. Velocity thought over it for weeks, but eventually, he decided to become a full-time bounty hunter, and from that point onward, Velocity would check the city daily for any opportunities to earn a bounty.
