Description
at college we've been given a project about mapping a journey and i chose to map my journey from child to now. i chose to focus on key areas that have molded me as a person and chose being diagnosed as dyslexic as one. this is one of the images that i have created so far for my projectnot a strong piece but theres something about it i love
hopefully alot of people will relate to this piece

That's pretty interesting
Though I never really understood what dyslexia was xD
Does it make things difficult for you? 8[

thanx
dyslexia is a learning difficulty that can vary between people. basically some people have it worse than others and it can effect people in different ways. some people see words and they're jumbled up or backwards so they need to put rose or purple colour over it to read them, some people take a while to read things cos when they get to each word they need to think about what it means and some people may just have trouble with reading or writing. alot of people make the mistake that dyslexia means your stupid but it just means you have trouble processing information, alot of people with dyslexia are good with 3D and shapes so they become artists
with me i sometimes pronounce words wrong and im a slow writer so i needed extra time on my exams and sometimes when i read sentances i read them wrong like i'll read "i wasnt able to come today" as "i was able to come today" i also have a bit of bother with my maths and i only properly learnt how to tell the time at 12 cos it kept confusing me lol
it sometimes makes things difficult, i sometimes have trouble with spelling, i once asked someone how to spell maybe and was mocked by some one overhearing ¬_¬ im also a very slow writer lol.

Oh, okay. I have an uncle who had to memorize all the numbers to the mechanical parts at his job because he couldn't read them. I can't imagine having to spend that much time on something that seems so simple to the rest of us 8[
I wouldn't have known you were dyslexic if you hadn't posted this. Your spelling and grammar is a lot better than most of the other people's on the internet xD
As for how long it takes you to write, I probably take just as much time (if not more) because I'm so OCD. I have to re-read everything I write about 100 times before clicking "send"
I use a LOT of contractions in my informal writing. If it would help you any, I could certainly drop them (Not that I think you have a lot of trouble, I just don't want to make things any harder than they need to be. I tend to use them way too often anyway ^-^; )

Exams tend to have that affect on a lot of people
Contractions are like, was not = wasn't
I don't know why I do that so much, it's not like it's any easier to type xD
