Description
Here's a concept for a modified bullpup auto sniper rifle. Though thats a mouthful, it explains the different style design. I imagine that most of the gun is housed in a plastic case with a polished metal skin. Purely for aesthetics.*Not from an actual game

Looks more like an assault rifle to me but I suppose one could use it as a DMR. Though methinks the reason why it looks more like an assault rifle to me is because it reminds me of the F2000 and the Tar-21.Β

This is most definitely an assault rifle, battle rifle, or carbine.

Interesting. looks more like it fits in the assault rifle or battle rifle category.
Changing scope might make it fit the category better
and the ironsight might be slightly redundant, considering that the designation 'sniper rifle' would normally always rely on high powered scope.
Also small functional problem
You either need to move the magazine slightly more forward, or make more room behind the magazine. otherwise, the bolt carrier doesn't have any room to cycle the round
other than that, beautifully rendered

First, Sniper rifles aren't and will never be "compact." They need to be long to shoot accurately. Barrel length is almost directly proportional to precision.
Second, you probably wouldn't do anything for "aesthetics" on a gun like this. A casing like that would make maintenance difficult and air-cooling slow. Though if it was an assault rifle you might have such a casing for clubbing people to death.

haha, well I'm glad I work in video games. I'll plead the Halo in my defense (TSK handgun and Scoped Battle-rifle). Fortunately in video games people are less likely to question the accurate functionally and physics of something as long as it looks cool and is fun to shoot. Until I learn better,I will stay away from any gun manufacturers. Also you should check out the alien weaponry we have in Resistance 3!

Haha, well get to it and finish off Snake's saga and learn about everything in the confusing world of Metal Gear. It was a good game but for god sakes i think we can all do without those lengthy cutscenes .....and i do mean LEANGTHY!!! Lol!!
