Your use of limited color range really makes this one work!

I love the light effect and the gradient choice of this. I shall feature it in my next journal if you don't mind.

Wow, really amazing art. I love this fractal..I totally fail at fractals, especially compared to you.
What would it take for you to write a tut on how to make something look as good as this?

I took a peek at your fractals an I don't think that you "fail". If it would be like that I would "fail", too, compared to others, but I don't think I do. Don't think you are a worse fractal artist than any other, you just have to keep hanging on - "skills" are achieved by training!
The reason why I didn't write a tutorial so far is that I like to keep things unique - not all, but most of them. (a magician doesn't reveal his tricks, does he? ).
But another reason is, that fractal art has a huge amount of styles. And it takes some time to figure out a particular one. Some appear to be quite "limited", while others are too versatile to capture every aspect of them...
You can always use scripts to experiment anyway (though I'm more and more turning away from them...).

Thanks for the reply...well your work is awesome.
Guess Im going to have to do plenty of experimenting to get some awesomeness like that, lol.
Thanks for your time though.

Here, here, a man who can take up a challenge, and in style! Not one, but two siprals! Challenged won! Waaaa! I want my Mama!!!! I HATE spirals! Serves me right for challenging you, served YOU right for under-estimating yourself. Now, nobody is asking you to keep doing them if you'd rather not, but you just know you can. I am so so so touched by the dedicace

Fantastic work, Meckie. See, you can create spirals, and beautiful ones at that!

Thank you!
Though I think I won't do a lot of these, now that I have the ability to do so
