Holy CRAP, that is beautiful! Mind if ask wht formula you used?

dkj.ufm -> Trapinski+
What I did basically was use the formula as a fractal, then used various traps of that formula for the squares' design.

Ah. For some reason that formula is taking forever to calculate on my computer... ah well. I did get an okay fractal out of it last night. Thanks for the tip!

I really like it...
I like the straightness, or rigidity of the forground, contrasted witht he soft, rounded, smooth look of the background/lighting/noise...
Very nicely done...+fav!

This is just a stab in the dark, but i'm guessing the actual panels (the squares) were rnedered in UF then you cut and placed them into Photoshop. Cus i've never ever seen something so boxy in UF before.
Either way. The effect is amazing!

Nope. The entire thing was made in UF. The only photoshopping I did was a little color correction and the noise.

Wow, that's impressive, Clearly i've yet to scrap the surface of what UF can do! Good to know.

Very nice design work What begins must end at some time ... maybe it is just a giant circle the size of a microbe?

That's a very cool fractal. I like how it seems to keep going downward for an eternity.

Glad you like it. I made it just for that comment.

It looks good especially because of the colours. It reminds me of lots of things, I like it.

I don't know anything about UltraFractal, but would it be possible to render this picture on a slightly higher quality? Don't get me wrong--this is absolutely gorgeous. But...it seems a tad...pixellated, especially in the larger squares.
They say space is infinite...yet the universe is expanding. Not sure how that works....

Drat, forgot to put in that the fuzziness was fuzzed-out noise due to Photoshop. Thanks for reminding me.
