It's nice to get a fanart once in a while, especially with such a distinct well-drawn well-defined style, as opposed to people that only do fanarts. It's possible to have too much of a good thing. lol You mix fan-art/original the right amount.

The original had some issues in the face mostly in my opinion. Other than that it looks fantastic on its own! i COMPLLETELY understand redos though. I've done things like that myself. Still, the way your style has evolved is fantastic! I absolutely go nutty over your artwork, as your eye for details and stylization of things works perfectly for the series you draw from. Brilliant work as always Nyanko-chan! <3

The hand was so...stylised before...While this one is still stylised too it seems more natural.
