Background:
Asher grew up in a stable home with a very loving family. His story begins with his father, Emmet Braxton- a very wealthy law firm CEO, and his mother Aaliyah Lussier-Braxton- a well sought-after model. The two were highschool sweethearts and after a few years of dating, Emmet's father decided that Aaliyah's evergrowing fame would be beneficial for the business as well as an attractive bloodline and convinced the two to get married straight away. Not that the lovers had any qualms about that. Emmet and Aaliyah had a rather cushy life after that, Emmet rising to inherit his father's law firm and Aaliyah becoming world famous for plus-sized modeling. The two were very much happy with each other, despite Emmet's occasional wandering eye. It wasn't until Asher's birth that Emmet settled down fully as a committed husband and father.

Asher was a very intelligent child. He was always curious and inventitive, always wanting to create things and figure out how things worked. He'd often sit with his father on his days off and watch him work on the vintage cars his father tended to collect. He'd ask questions and Emmet would warmly answer them, proud to see that his son was so interested in how things worked. Asher went to a prestigious private school from Elementary to Highschool not far from home when he was old enough to start school. He was well liked by his teachers for his high marks and desire to know more. However, he was less well received by his peers. His parents were elite, but not quite as prestigious as some of the students at that school, so he and his sister were surprisingly, considered lesser than. On top of that, many students were disgusted by his face, the gaping holes in the sides of his cheek made him... less than attractive to the kids at the school and incited a lot of bullying. And for a while, it seemed like none of that bullying fazed him. But it did.

He was not typically an angry child. His mother and father raised him to manage anger in a healthier way because his father used to have very dangerous outrages. They didn't want their son to grow up with the same issues. So, in that sense he was very slow to anger. But there was only so much he could take. He endured the taunts and bullying up until 7th grade. A group of boys were taunting him in gym class during battle practice. He couldn't remember what they were bullying about, but how he responded shifted the students' view of him from that day on. He simply gave the boys a malicious deadpanned gaze and told them to back off while he was practicing with one of the weighted sparring dummies. When they didn't, he swung an attack past one of the boys' face and on the dummy with so much force that it was sent hurtling across the gym and crumbled a bit of the brick wall. That fierce look, paired with the deadly looking attack told the whole school that, much like his father had been years prior, he was not someone to mess with. From that moment on, things were a little different for the fusion. Students were... nicer, but he wasn't a very popular student until highschool, when he could hide his face. In highschool, they offered a less strict dresscode that allowed Asher to cover his face. He began to wear bandannas over his mouth to cover the holes in the sides of his face. It became part of his persona, made him seem mysterious, which was intriguing to those who didn't know him growing up and didn't know what was behind the mask. It sheltered him from any further bullying and became something that Asher eventually felt he couldn't live without. Because without it he was... gross. With it, however, he was quite the ladie's man with his cool, gentlemanly behavior.

Upon graduating, Asher decided he wanted to go to college to pursue Engineering. He'd helped his father so much with building and remodeling cars, and the idea of someday working for the KDF inspired him. He'd been fascinated by their technology, especially their aircrafts. But his fear of flying turned him off quickly from the idea of ever becoming a pilot. Just being able to work on those aircrafts however, made him excited. So he took up a degree in Mechanical engineering with a minor focus in Automotive engineering. His parents gladly encouraged his pathway, having been very supportive of him his entire life. They only asked two things of him: not to do drugs, and to always be a gentleman. He took his parents words and did his best to hold true to them throughout college. Which, made him quite a popular lad, much to his surprise. He was a guy many people got along with, but not someone many knew well. He kept his focus mainly on his studies, struggling to let people too close. When people got close, they got curious about his face, so he often kept his distance emotionally with anyone he interacted with. He eventually graduated Summa Cum Laude and immediately applied as a mechanic for KDF.
