When I say sketches...I spent literally all day on these things, do they even count as sketches anymore?? Anyway me and my good friend were talking about the new How To Train Your Dragon movie coming soon, and we're both very excited although I don' think anyone is as excited as she is right now XD and we discussed human Toothless (long story short here) and uh...THIS happened...I don't even...I am so tired of drawing after this, it's kinda funny XDDD Still, lots of fun, and I did mess with a few ideas for Human!Toothless here, I liked drawing his hair alot~ Is that skin color good you think?? Hiccup's fun to draw too but I don't think I'm doing it right...some of them I couldn't be bothered to draw the wings, ehe, sorry ''''Notes: Bottom Left corner- modern AU, I think Hiccup is getting bullied and Tooth stepped in, and rain...I wanted to draw his hair down
Bottom right: also modern, messing with Tooth's eye coloring, still dont know what I like more '''
Top left: I don't even...PFFT...

I'm taking a looong break from drawing now uwu''' oh Tooth's "freckles" are actually scales...I think

The one in the upper left corner made me laugh. XD XD Humans aren't used to flying, Toothless; go easy on him! XD
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww, your design of human Toothless is so freaking cute. X3 X3 X3 I love both those sketches of him by himself! His "Ooh look shiny!" and happy expressions are perfect, and I love his clothes, they're cool and could pass for either canon or AU, and they've even got those buckles reminiscent of his flying gear! Very nice! : D
I also like your hair design for him, it's perfect. ^^ It looks like hair, yet it's still suggestive of his head shape in the movie; perfect!
Oh, I just noticed that the second outfit is different. XD That one looks good, too! Toothless is so cute in a hoodie. :3 And I really like the idea that he literally had to rip holes in it for his wings! (Though maybe the holes should be a bit bigger so his wings don't have to scrunch quite so tightly to get through...! XD)
Ah, yes, that skin color looks great!
Computers are so amazing; his skin looks so bad with my colored pencils, but computers have infinite shades to make the same colors look good. ^^
I like the idea of him having "scale-freckles," but I'm thinking they should be just slightly more angular instead of perfectly round, like in this picture .
Hee, he eats fish as a human, too; so cute~ X3
I can't decide what color I want his eyes to be. X'D I was thinking yellow-green like in the movie, but he looks so dang good with purple eyes.... XD And you kind of made the "whites" of his eyes that same yellow-green color, which is interesting. I'll leave it up to you!
If you're wanting me to pick one of these for the commission, I'm gonna go with the one in the lower right corner, because it's the two of them being so cute together. :3
But I do really like that one in the lower left corner. X3 I love physically helpless Hiccup + protective Toothless. *squee* Gosh, Hiccup is so cute, I feel so sorry for him, and I'm glad he has Toothless to come swooping in to his rescue. :3
I'm actually really glad I didn't finish coloring my own pictures in time; you came up with much better stuff on your own!!!

One of the reasons I really like to draw on the computer~ its really easy to fix mistakes without having to start all over! Which reminds me, im probably going to finish your tutorial after camp which is like...next week...(so so sorry for the wait ;w; )

oh no dont worry it wasnt you, it's my fault I got worn out! I got so focused on the sketches I worked all day, and it was frustrating coz I didnt think it would take so long to finish...I really want to draw faster than I do now, thats the frustrating bit to me TwT It was all my doing though, please dont feel bad! I just got back from white water rafting as a "bonding" trip for me and my fellow youth leaders in camp...it really tested my courage since im a huge scaredy cat, but it was a lot of fun and the perfect break, im up for drawing again

Ha ha ha ha! XD The whole "dragon rider" thing does seem pretty awkward when Toothless doesn't look like a dragon anymore.
I think Hiccup would design appendage-friendly clothes for his friend, but I still really like the idea of Toothless ripping big holes in his clothes. XD (And I agree, since I actually dislike seeing shirtless guys. 
Agreed again! It's why I wish I could figure out how to draw digitally, since it seems like it'd be so much easier if I could just get the hang of it!

I think you actually have drawn perfect scale-freckles on Toothless before, that sketch you did for me a while ago.
Cuddles~ Although I really really like snarly Toothless protecting Hiccup, for my first HTTYD commission at least, I'd rather pay for a cute cuddly one. XD Their clothes don't matter as much; they look really cool in both canon and AU clothes.
