Nice idea. Love the way you personificate something abstract with human shape, it's like if you zoom in enough everything will fall apart into a collection of souls, everyone craving for its own good. But somehow they always end up going in the same direction, even if they desperately try to oppose it.

When I created this image yesterday, I did not think much about the direction of flow and did not realize that until after reading your comments.
This image reflects a disturbing and haunting thought that we are all driven by and entrapped in this flow.
Although our thinking, lifestyle, and behaviors are shaped by powerful social forces, it is the freedom of choice that makes all of us special.

Well said, I think I would have not survived if I would have been a determinist (belief that everything is determined upfront and there's nothing you could do to change it). It's our actions and our freedom that make our life meaningful. If we can choose, even when between two evils, we will be who we are and not just puppets of the fate, droplets in the flow.
