Description I'll return to Skyworld victorious!

Me and ~xPandorae had a little photoshoot for Pit today. I changed some little things on my Pit cosplay, mostly the wings.

These wings are also movable. And soon I'll show you all how high these wings open. They are slightly more dramatic.
They have a lot of shading on them actually.. I'm very surprised it's not even thΓ‘t visible in this picture... Might need to make the shading even more obvious for the next test. ^^
But trust me, without the shading both my toga and my wings would look like white blobs on every picture. Thankfully now they don't! xD Blue is actually such a big part of Pit's color scheme. So I'm glad I got that color in the white. :3

Slowly getting totally ready for the WCS 2012 finals. Kind of... I suppose you're never truly ready.. *___*
But these test-runs just make me happy. ^^ It's good to see me wearing the whole thing and then start thinking of what else needs to change to look even better.

hehehe and yeahh Medusa is awesome. I'm just so proud of her. I would love to wear these two costumes again someday at a Dutch con. We updated them so much since Animecon!

Oh, I don't know much about Pit but I think you look wonderful in this! I like how light the picture is, it adds some sort of angelic atmosphere, which is really good considering the cosplay

There is a wooden construction with pulleys and ropes on the inside that allows me to move them. ^^ The feathers are slightly stiffer felt parts that are all seperately stitched on. :3 And then everything was shaded with an airbrush. It's very time-consuming but totally worth it in the end.

It's felt. It's a bit of a soft sliiiightly stiff one. It's not a completely white one but more of a blue-grayish and then I shaded it with blue with an airbrush. ^^ The artificial shadows aren't that visable here, but they do make a lot of difference with photography and the like.
And each wings consists out of two parts, since they are movable with a pulley system+wooden frame. So that's why they are shaped like that. ^^
Oh, and on the inside it's lot of chickenwire and some tape to make the points childproof. xD That last part you dont have to do. xD But I'm very clumpsy so I always tape off every sharp edge to make sure I dont hurt myself on the wings. Heh.

Thank you!! It really is a great chance to actually edit some parts of the costume now because of the WCS. Normally we would just skip on to a next costume for another convention. xD But now these two cosplays have of course become veryyy important.
We're leaving on 26 July. And we'll be back on 12 August. ^^

Aw thx. <3 Yeah, it's seriously amazing how much change a few shading parts can cause for the pictures. Almost all the shadows on the white parts of this cosplay are artificial by airbrush shading. Thx again!
