Scarlette version 2

This version I put in a lot more effort into. I had Alton in one window, Pierce in another, and was working on Scarlette in another.

So without further ado, I bring to you; Scarlette. Here's a little more on her colouring and why it's like it:

Pierce has a dorsal stripe, Alton has a small dorsal stripe that extends to his withers (that I can see) and horizontal spikes up his rump-- so (to me) in order for Pierce to work; Scarlette must have a full length dorsal stripe. The four spikes were add-lib.
Her facial marking is as close to the general shape of a butterfly without being too over-the-top as I could get whilst still being a flame. It's also centred.
Pretend there's heavy duty feathering on all four legs.
I liked the red shiny hoof idea, so I kept it for this version too.
Scarlette has a deep purple eye colour which is common amongst Azars. What's not common is the depth of colour that she posesses.

Being 100% Azar blood, she has all the requirements of an Azar. Muscle definition, eye colour, flames, tribal markings, colours and (not illustrated) feathering. There is nothing on the Azar reference sheet about hoof colouring, so I decided to give her a feature hoof.

Scarlette should look fairly like Pierce so that he can grasp quickly that she is his dam. Again, I decided to add-lib on a couple of things, trying as hard as I can not to add a storyline.

Black manes and tails aren't (from what I know) as common, which is why she's so badly wanted by the Azars -she's got lesser common colours.
She's got the glowing red hoof, which only ancient bloodline Azars can have.
The Pendulum that sits behind her left ear is a gift from Alton - something he only gives his favourite mares. (Aerynne's bangles, Brooke's jewel in her mane and now Scarlette's Pendulum) I'd say Savannah doesn't have one because she's always with Alton so she doesn't need something to remember him by. Whereas his daughters will some day leave his herd and Scarlette has always been in hiding.
Her facial marking is seen as regal because it covers most of her face

From his father, Pierce inherited:
Mane and tail colour
Spikes along the dorsal line
Butterfly markings
Hoof colour
Softness of eye colour

From his mother, Pierce inherited:
Mane and tail coarseness
Colour and placement of markings
Dorsal stripe that extends to forelock
Flame and tribal markings of his dam
Athletic ability
