Wasn't planning on making another character, but an idea popped into my head and I decided to roll with it :0!

Name: Adriel
Age: 16 years old
Gender: Male
Species: Caracal

Powers: Adriel has a saharan horned viper he has dubbed as Nidhogg constantly wrapped around his neck. She sometimes bites him (she's non-poisonous, though her bite still stings) but as long as he feeds her and doesn't bother her it's fine for the most part (though she sometimes gets in a bad mood). Their minds and life force are tied together so that if he dies, she dies and if she dies, he dies. He can also feel her emotions on the edge of his conscious, but can't read her mind or anything of the sort. He honestly has no idea if it's the same for Nidhogg or not. She can push thoughts or words into his mind, though she rarely does. Adriel didn't have any powers before Paradise.

Personality: Adriel's pretty chill for the most part and doesn't mind company, though he does like his solitude (or as alone as you can get with a snake constantly wrapped around your neck) from time to time. He can be a bit of a doormat at times, but Nidhogg'll bite him (or whoever's being rude/trying to manipulate him) if she thinks things are getting to out of hand or that he's in danger.

Nidhogg, on the other hand, is a bit temperamental and a very stubborn snake. She's made it her duty to protect Adriel, though no one really knows if she actually cares for him or if she's just looking out for her own scales.

Reason for being in Paradise: Adriel lived in a not too well known desert town that lay near an oasis. He was an orphan and lived off of scraps from things he either was given or had stolen. One day, when he was stealing from a sleeping merchant, he noticed a snake in a cage not far from the merchant. The cage's door was wide open. In Adriel's mind, he had two options: he could either flee with the money that he had stolen and possibly let the snake kill the merchant or he could close the latch, probably either get bit or wake the merchant, and get caught. Adriel had a severe fear of snakes and knew this type of snake was highly poisonous. After a moment's hesitation, he left the merchant with the snake's cage wide open. Little did he know, the merchant was a god in disguise and had been waiting to see what he'd do. After seeing his choice, the god was furious that he'd leave an innocent to die and sent Adriel to Paradise, cursing him to be constantly in contact with the very same snake that he allowed to be set free (though he got rid of the snake's poison.)
