History: Kiramaru is what most people would call a prodigy or a genius. Though he doesn't believe so himself because of the small amount of chakra he has. His father, Abatos, the sole guard of Imprisonment. Abatos rarely get to see his family so, Kiramaru was raised solely by his mother, Kana. She decided that Kiramaru, being Abatos' only child and heir, should be raised in the way of the Raiden Clan, and not her own Hisui Clan's ways. Kiramaru doesn't enjoy using jutsu because his small amount of chakra and instead chose to practice his taijutsu and weapon training instead. This worked out for the best when he got his sword Furasshu from Damian Zaide.

Kiramaru strives to be of the most elite ninja in the Hidden Smoke, in other words, he wants to join the Anbu Ninja Corps. That way he can live out an exciting life, like the stories he loves to listen to. He doesn't want to end up like the rest of the Raiden's as the guardians of the village living mundanely. Thus, he's apathetic when it comes to participating in Raiden Clan's duties.
