I love something about how you took a month to draw this, I personally believe that is why this WORK OF ART came out so amazing because you took your time with it and did not rush like many others do.

This looks like a very time intensive and therapeutic process. I love your use of color. It is extremely bold and vibrant, while at the same time balanced by the use of line work and dark "negative" space. As the black of the image becomes more so the hollow spaces where light is absent.

Hey Mellissa, Thanks for the nice comment! I started this on my pre retirement vacation and finished a couple weeks after I quite my job. I like your perspective, I never thought of the black as a void, but more just like an abstract formation.. Haha I think I prefer your interpretation.
