ZERO: And you happily agreed to be my bride, once we’ve taken our rightful place as rulers of this world…

ROLL: Yes… I am your beloved bride-to-be… *sighs dreamily*

ZERO: As for the Rock Force… you have completely renounced them for defying my father’s dream of a unified world without so much as an iota of regret in their hearts! And your hatred for Bass burns with the intensity of a thousand suns… to you, he’s nothing more than a self-centered jerk who opposes Father ONLY to prove himself as the strongest robot in the world, and he cares NOTHING for you…!

ROLL: Damn the Rock Force… damn Bass…! *growls with anger*

ZERO: Excellent… feel your hatred for Bass and the Rock Force grow…! You want nothing more than to stay by my side, where you’ll be safe…

ROLL: *calmer* Yes, Zero…

ZERO: And one last thing: my father, Dr. Wily, will be the one to rule this world before I assume the throne, and so you must obey his commands as well as mine. And you may call him “Master” if it pleases you.

ROLL: Anything for you, Zero… and for Master Wily…

ZERO: Very good. Now, when I snap my fingers, you will awaken from your trance with perfect recall of everything I’ve just commanded of you, save for being hypnotized. *pauses as Roll nods* Now… awaken, Roll. *thinking as he snaps his fingers* You’re all mine now…
