Description
I have a feeling my next chapter of The Legend of Spyro and Cynder might take a while, so I decided to make a TLoSaC Cynder bio for you all.
03/29/2061 edit: I ended up changing Cynder's color to a grey blue since and I ended up agreeing that black shouldn't be Cynder's real color because her egg isn't really black and due to the fact that according to 's interview journal says that Cynder isn't a natural black dragon at all. Hope you guys won't mind this.
Cynder
Age: 10 to 11 (A New Destiny)
Elements: Fire, Electricity and Ice
Bio: Because this version of Cynder never had her egg stolen and their for never became the terror of the skies, Cynder never developes a self loathing side to her personality and is there for somewhat different then she was in Dawn of the Dragon. Cynder in this au fic is very couragous, headstrong and always eager for adventures and challenges. She can come off as a bit arrogant when meeting new people, but she'll quickily warm up and be very friendly to them once she gets to know them. She can be reckless and a bit irresponsible at times, often heading off into loads trouble when battling or investigating new places, often making her poor elder "brother" Spyro, to always keep a close eye on her to make sure she doesn't get herself hurt or worse. Cynder can be mischief and very cocky, but she means well and is very friendly and loyal to her two brothers, Ignitus, Pyra, Crystal and her friends. She also has a clever side which she uses to solve difficult puzzles and convincing Sparx to tag along with her in dangerous missions.
Since she is the daughter of the famous Grey toned Malina, she has learned how to use Fire, Electircity and Ice dispite not being a purple dragon. Her favorite elements are Fire and Ice, but she likes using electrcity too.
Oh, and here's a little bonus pic of Cynder and Sparx getting ready for some mischief while Spyro, while happy they're both having fun, is concerne for their wellfare too.
I decided to use the colors Green, Pink and White for the elements out of inspiration of 's fanfic series The Legend of Cynder and I based This Cynder's color out of my friend's style too: midnightstardragon12.deviantarβ¦
Also I ended up givng TLoSaC Cynder Classic Spyro's personality since Dawn of the Dragon Cynder does remind me a bit of Classic Spyro. XDCynder, Spyro and Sparx belong to Sierra/Activision

Cool! I actually just used Cynder's colors from a picture I found from the Wikipedia, but I'm glad you like! Also, did you know Cynder's black scales and markings were caused by Malefor's corruption? I thought I should share that fact with you, becuase that's what gave me the idea of Purple Cynder anyway! But your take on her is cool too, so don't let me put you down!

Yeah! I though it was cool and I suspected Cynder would have been a purple dragon originally if she wasn't corrupted. Buuuuut that was viciously slaughtered after one of the lead concept artists revealed she was originally a wind dragon before she was turned.

Yeah, one of the lead concept artists did say Cynder would've been most likely a wind dragon if she was never corrupted. And it does make sense concidering that wind isn't dark like the other elements. That's what I think at least. My color screen might be different then yours. Oh, that's ok, you can have Cynder's egg be dark purple in your fic if you want to. The only reason I wrote that my fanfic's cynder egg was black because the cutscene egg didn't look anything related to wind to me. I don't mind your decision either way.

Yeah... Well her game model looks more like a dark grey than black, to be honest. So, maybe wind dragons have grey scales, like storm clouds. And maybe it just darkened her to black and maybe she would've been a lighter grey? Oh, I also got inspired by how Cynder looks in DOTD. Where she was a dark purple. I assumed she was slowly loosing her darker influences, exposing her true colors; Purple and pink. But yeah, her egg might have been the color of a storm cloud, who knows?Β
Yeah, I've been meaning to do a trade with you, if you even do those anyway. Yes I can relate, I'm counting down the days to Spring Break so I can get stuff done!

I agree. Also I noticed that Cynder's color seems to change a bit to a lot within each game. In the last cutscene of a New beginning, she was black and pink, in The Eternal Night, she was a darkish grey and red then finally in Dawn of the Dragon she was purple and pink (and in the Eternal night trailer, she is a bluish grey and pink.) Ah, that's cool.
