*A flash back occurs where a small female robot with white, pink and blue hair lies in a bed, having been badly injured by a recent attack. A small blue robot named Rock Light, otherwise known as Mega Man stands by her side*

Mega Man: ...How is she Lyle?

Lyle: Gear has suffered several wounds in her arms and legs, has one of her arms nearly broken and she also has a nasty scar on her cheek. Otherwise she's quite stable. No sign of her dying at anytime.

Romance Woman: Gear....

*Mega Man puts his hand on the bandaged covered head*

Mega Man: Gear...I'm so sorry I wasn't able to help you or fend your attacker off...

Gear: Don't blame yourself Rock. No one could've saw it coming. Besides, what's important is that you did manage to save me in time from being bitten and that I'm happy enough to say thank you for. *she weakly kisses him which causes Mega Man to blush*

Mega Man: Thanks...Who...did you say attacked you?

Gear: It...was...Snake Man.

Mega Man: Snake Man... He will pay...

Gear: No, don't kill him...You said yourself you'd never kill anyone.

Mega Man: *calms down* Oh...r-right. Thanks for making me come to my senses. ...W-Wait! You said Snake man...tried to bite you?

Gear: Yes...and he...didn't quite look like himself either...his texture looked pale, his eyes were redder then normal and his teeth..they didn't look like Snake Fangs..they looked more like...the fangs of a vampire!

Everyone: A VAMPIRE?!

Cut Man: But...that's not possible! Robots can't become Vampires!

Bubble Man: ...Well, there is Shade Man.

Clown Man: But I've never seen him try to bite anyone.

Acoustic Woman: Neither Have I.

Mega Man: W-Wait a Minute!

Proto Man: Something up Bro?

Mega Man: *pale* I....I didn't realize this before....but when I first met Zero, He had this dark feel about him and his own fangs seem to be very long for a pair of canine fangs...

Duelist Woman: Hey...I noticed that too!

Cut Man: Me too!

Guts Man: Me three!

Mega Man: And the other thing is that during the battle where we managed to throw Zero into the river, He seemed to be weaker whenever he was exposed to sun light, but much stronger whenever he was in the shade. Finally, when Guts Man threw that garlic bread at him which I thought wouldn't work, it had a major effect on them where he was weakened long enough for us to throw him into the river!

Guts Man: Thanks to me!

Lyle: Mega Man...are you suggesting that.....

Mega Man: Yeah....I think Zero may actually be a vampire...and he bit Snake Man and turned him into a vampire as well!

Everyone: WHAT?!

Mega Man: Yeah...it's crazy...but it's only possible explanation for all of this!

Lyle: Goodness...that would explain why he's able to hypnotize so many people and robots...

Mega Man: And...how he hypnotized Roll into being his queen.

Lyle: yes...I'm so sorry about that.

Bass: Zero....I'm really going all out on you this time! *gets some garlic and stakes*

Romance Woman: I....I never thought this was possible.....

Acid Man: I don't believe it either. Dr. Wily making a really powerful robot is one thing....but a powerful robot who's also a vampire like Shade Man but worse.....

Proto Man: ...I think the mission to save Roll just got kind of tougher....

Mega Man: Maybe so....but we can't fall back now. Roll is counting on us. We just need to make better preparations and take the fight to rescue Roll....*puts his head down* Even if it means we have to fight against my own sister Roll as well....

Gear: ...I wish...I can come with you Rock...

Duelist Woman: You can't Gear! You're still injured by Snake Man. You need to stay here and rest!

Gear: But.....

Mega Man: Aria's right Gear. I can't have you more hurt then you are now. *He sees Gear sad so he went up to her* Gear....it will be ok. I have everyone else who will help protect me and I swear to find Roll and bring her back safely without anything happening to me.

Gear: You....You promise Rock?

Mega Man: I promise Gear. *He holds her hand and she held his back and they both smiled sad but sweet smiles at each other*

Heh, This is one of the many flashbacks of my upcoming fanfiction The Dark Prince. In this flashback, Gear ends up being injured and unable to join the Rock Force in the mission to rescue Roll. Mega Man ends up promising Gear he will come back safely with Roll in tow...But considering that this is The Dark Prince and not Project Zero, it will end up being an empty promise.....
