To honor the 68th anniversary of the King of the Monsters, I drew Godzilla squaring up against a long-time enemy of his, Gigan! I haven't made kaiju art in a while, so I wanted to give these Titans another go for this special day. I used my S.H. Monsterarts figures of them for reference when drawing their poses. To add to the inspiration behind this piece, Toho also released a couple of shorts today of Godzilla & Gigan fighting, one animated & one live-action, & I really enjoyed them both!
