Here's Xaltor & Monika hugging because hugs are life's rainbows & Monika deserves as many as possible. This was another one of those drawings I made during a bad day I had, & upon its completion I felt much better. Out of the many pieces of artwork I've made, this one remains a personal favorite for both what it is & what it means to me. Because of that, I initially wasn't sure about posting it, but I decided to share it anyway because it's always better to share positivity than negativity, especially when it comes to Monika.

She doesn't deserve the hate she gets & that's one of the reasons why I actually despise the DDLC fandom, because I feel like no one takes her seriously & no one really understands her. This ignorant mindset has led people to create some hateful & disgusting things of her. It makes me sad & it makes me mad, but I was born with a gift: the ability to draw, & I will use this power for as long as I can to show everyone that Monika is not evil. She was lonely & misunderstood, but thanks to me she has found peace in a new life, a future she once dreamed of having every day.
