Biography | Mega Man started out as Rock, a humble lab assistant and Dr. Light’s second advanced-android. When Dr. Wily’s forces threaten the security of Dr. Light’s family, Rock is upgraded into Mega Man to combat Dr. Wily’s forces. Mega Man is interested in science like his creator Dr. Light, who he sees as his father. He has a strong moral conscious, and cherishes family above everything else.

Differences from Ruby-Spears Canon | I try to keep Recut Mega Man pretty close in character to the Ruby-Spears original. He has a lot of angst in the early episodes, but as he grows and gets more experience he’ll grow in to the confident hero we’re familiar with from the shows.

Differences from Game Canon | I write Recut Mega Man to be geeky-er and more self-righteous than his game counter-part, who is essentially a little boy who’s both a peackeeper and a pacifist. There is also an ‘age’ difference between Recut Mega Man and classic Mega Man, as Recut Mega Man is written as though he were in his late teens/early twenties.

Note: testing out a 'bio' format, I'm hoping these character profiles will help explain a few things, especially to keep track of all the Robot Masters.
