So far I've tried to sum up who liked what
(sorry, it's not very detailed, but it gives an overall idea. Please don't catch me on every little point, if you said you just thought he was cute on one, but not like Artemis, etc.)
The final vote will be in my poll, so please vote in it too. Also, the final decision will be our director's probably.
(But she said she doesn't want to be a dictator, so she will probably just confirm everyone's decision.) So your vote does count. Please, help us choose.
(I might want to get a mix of them all in the end, but only if there won't be a definite winner.)

So I've been thinking... What makes a character look young? I tried to come up with some ideas:
- narrow shoulders,
- small face compared to big head,
- short limbs,
- definitely not a hair style like the one Arty has, but this is a feature that's supposed to make him look adult.
- big eyes? But in a realistic style I can't really make them too big...
- definitely not a nasty expression like Artemis'. xD An innocent look helps a lot.
- round face with delicate features (compared to strong, sharp features of an adult).
- thin neck,
- any more ideas?? ._. I'm a bit hopeless here... ;_;''

Woww!! I like 2, 23 and my favourite: 33! 33 seems to fit his personality in the first book, and will also suit him as he grows older—but that's just my opinion

These are great! I especially like 6, 12, 24, 26, and most of he ones in the bottom section.

42's face looks about right, age-wise. 24 has the expression spot-on. 33 seems a little older, but still fits. 6 and 9 are good too.

i like his hair! perhaps narrow, wide eyes, more triangular than oval? That would keep the youth, but not so much the innocence. XD

I really like 6, 10, and 33. I think those all look similar to the style the other character sheets have been done in, they look about the right age (let's face it, Artemis is probably going to look a little older than 12 just because of his clothing and facial expressions, and hair).

Yes, I think so too, about his age and looks. >w< It's really nerve wracking. He is young, but at the same time he should look like a young adult. I'm confused sometimes. @_@ I really need other people's opinion on this one.

37 is adorable but slightly too young looking
But after a long review I think even though number 44 is scrumptious !
Number 6 looks perfect.

I think I saw it, it was brilliant~! *_* It looks so professional! I haven't given my opinion on the storyboard itself yet though... I don't know if I qualify; people seemed to already point out some things... Maybe they know better than myself. ^^'
Awww, 37 looks too young, really? ;3; Pity. D: I tried to picture his sad side after loosing his father in that one. Before becoming the master of the Fowl crime empire - a lost child suddenly without his father. D: Maybe that's why he looks slightly too young - he was 10 at that time, I guess.
*I'm re-reading book 6 now, so I have some fresh ideas* x3

ale dzieci zwykle maja duze oczy, zgrabny, drobny nosek i owalna, troche pyzata twarz(no, chyba ze dzieciak jest chudy niezle xd) bo dzieciaki nie maja ostro zarysowanych krztalty twarzy, a ten z 48 wlasnie dziecieco wyglada
38 jest zawalisty, ale wyglada na nim jakby mial 15 lat, czy cos kolo tego
i jesli chodzi o szkice to zawaliste sa, ale jesli chcesz by twa postac wygladala mlodo, to bym wywalila niemal cala 1 czesc tego szkicu i polowe 2, bo na nich wyglada dosc staro, glownie przez te ulizane wlosy, bo mam wrazenie ze zakola ma

Mam czasem zaćmy umysłu. Szybko mi przeszło, ale ścierać się nie chciało, więc została bzdura. xD Na ogół nie przejmuję się napisami na marginesach moich artów - czasem spotyka się tam znacznie dziwniejsze rzeczy... xD;;

Number 2 looks to me the most like Arty. His expression and stance are really adult but his proportions, especially the size of his head compared to the size of his body, give him the look of a ten or eleven year old.
23 is good, too. Artemis looks older, though, closer to fourteen or fifteen.

Did you realise that both your choises were the ones where I tries to draw his face features smaller than usually, but on the same size of the head? Maybe I should go in that direction after all... >w<

I wasn't thinking about which ones look younger, just the ones that look like Artemis.
Also, twelve year olds don't look exactly young. They look more like young teenagers, which look like small, slightly younger looking adults in my opinion. Your drawing of him at twelve looks just a year or two too young.

Really? Oh my, I totally don't know any more how kids look like when they're at specific ages. @_@''' Do you perhaps have a photo of a 12-year-old? Or a full class, if possible...? xD' I think it would help. ;3; Irish class would be best, actually... hm... I think I'll go look myself too in fact. xD' It seems like not such a bad idea.
