PS. I got kind of tired at the end, so I'm sorry if some of the sketches aren't too good... OTL'' I hope it will be enough to choose from at least... Also, they kind of tend to get to look the same in the end, I'm so sorry. OTL''' I fail as a designer...

37 M or 37 L. His cheekbones could be slightly more defined in both of these, if you're not completely satisfied with them.

Coloured pencils..hmm... Derwent are my favourite, I think. But I quite like KOH-I-NOOR too. And Faber Castell. And Crayola. xD
It depends on what you want to draw. Some brands have good vivid colours and some are good with the pastel ones.

I am specifically looking for a colored pencil that makes hard dark lines and one that makes soft lines.

... O_O By hard, you mean the line should be dark and hard, not that the colouring pencil should be hard, right? Then you need a smooth, maybe pastel one. Derwent has a set like that.
For soft lines I'm not sure what you mean. If you don't press too hard, the line should be soft with any one of those colouring pencils.

I love the 38 set. I'm pretty sure that's what I voted for the first time, but I thought I'd reiterate my love for it.

I very much like 37J, 37L, and 37M. I think that style looks better from profile, however. 6K and 6N seem to fit him well, with a very mature aura projected onto a young body. I like much of 38; however, the upturned nose seems to give him a bratty, immature air about him.

I say 37. I never really liked it when the hair was totally slicked back. Plus it looks more like he actually took time to do his hair (he totally would) and yet it still works well as a kid's style.

My problem with the 6s is that they seem a little too... stereotypically evil, I guess? The high cheek bones, the more angular chin, the slicked back hair... I don't know. This is just my interpretation of him, but I always visualized Artemis as looking like a normal kid, albeit a sharply dressed, more mature one. The thing I like about the first set is that you can't TELL at first glance that he's this evil mastermind, so personally I'd want to go with one of those.
