A/n - Hey, there! So, a new chapter! You're still a child, Reader-chan. But, this will be a bit sad, forgot sad, IT'LL BE REALLY SAD! (it depends on you though). You'll know it soon enough. Anyways of my endless drama, this will be the last chapter that you'll be a child, not the final chap! (but, spoiler, its not from the real life that you're a child instead, its in your fantasyland, hehe). But, I hope you'll enjoy this!

Chapter 3 : A Farewell...?

As you were inside your room, playing with your stuffed animals/toys, you heard some happy yelling and shouting downstairs. It made you flinch, stopping you from playing. You furrowed your eyebrows, you decided to peek out from your door. You saw your brother was in the same state and silently giggled because of it.

“(Y/bn)! (Y/n)! Please, come downstairs! We have big news to share to both of you!” Your mother called out. Now, you were getting excited and curious about it.

~Some minutes later~

“WHAT? Really? We're moving to (P-C/n)?!” Your brother exclaimed, not in a bothered tone, but, in a happy surprised one.

“Yes, we are. And, I assume that you two will be Okay and happy for it?” Your mother asked, not wanting to get an answer as a no. You and your brother glanced at each other, gesturing the one thing you two will take as an answer to your mother. The two of you nodded in unison. You looked back to your mother and father.

“YES, WE ARE!” The both of you chirped. Your father laughed at you.

“We're glad to hear that. And the reason we're moving, is because, I found a better work and place there, than here. It's not that I'm saying that, I don't want work here but, I like the better one in (P-C/n).” He stated.

“That's great Dad! But, when are we going to move?” Your brother asked. The reason why he wanted to go there is to go to that school, he always wanted to go. Despite, living here, instead of there, it made him dream that big, someday that he'll go to that university, an exclusive one too. Only, smart students can pass an entrance exam there, but, you three believed in him.

And, for you, the reason you wanted to go there, too is because, you dreamt of that park when your family went on a trip last year. You were fascinated by how, amazing the park is. The grass was greener than you could ever imagine, a nearby pond was clearer than ever. The flowers was your favorite. It blossomed beautifully, especially the yellow bells, it was one of your favorites there. (I'll put out a link later, for that flower)

“Tomorrow, (Y/bn).” Your mother said. ‘T-Tomorrow...?’ You thought.

Your brother gave a big hug to the three of you. But, you were quite stunned by the unexpected answer. Why, tomorrow? It made you sad a bit, what'll happen to Goldie then?

~The next day~

“G-Goldie...” A trembling squeak come out of you, it was because of your sudden outburst, crying into tears. You tried to wipe your tears away with your small hands, but, it didn't worked. Instead, your tears were uncontrollable to stop. Goldie, was a bit surprised and shocked, he wasn't quite sure on how to comfort you with the situation happening right now. You began to sob, as Goldie went quickly by your side. He laid his golden paw on your shoulder.

“Hey, hey... What's the matter? Is there something wrong?” He asked in a warm low robotic voice. You look up from him, offering you a comforting smile. You gloomily smiled back, your eyes shot down on the floor, pondering why'd you were crying that time.

You felt his paws laid on each sides of your shoulders, making you look back at him. You heard a gentle sigh from him.

“What's wrong, (Y/n)? What exactly happened? It's Okay... You can tell me.” Goldie reassured.

“I'm moving to (P-C/n), Goldie...” You squeezed your eyes shut. Though, something inside of Goldie, made him felt weak, as if something broke inside of him. He abruptly froze, his grasp loosened a bit.

“I'm sorry, Goldie... I really am.” You said. Tears were forming in your dull gloomy eyes, as Goldie immediately saw this.

“N-No, (Y/n)... It's Okay, it's not your fault either. Some things are just meant to happen for a reason. You don't need to apologize, 'kay?” Asked Goldie. You nodded, as he gave you a hug.

“So, when are you going to move, (Y/n)?” Goldie hesitantly asked, he don't know how to react to your sudden trip that time.

“Right now... And, I'm going to miss you.” You retorted. He released you from the hug, looking at you with sad eyes. He closed his eyes for a moment as he gently spoke.

“I'll miss you, too.” He leaned on your forehead, and planted a small peck. It made you smile, though, Goldie felt something from his robotic heart... Something... warm and fuzzy. Something you couldn't explain or even express through words.

“I promise, I'll return. Wait for me to come back, Okay Goldie?” You asked, you felt him tugged you back on his grasp, and hugged you again. He couldn't stand you, going away so quickly. Now, he realized that... He loved how you're always there for him.

He removed his arms around you, and smiled warmly.

“I'll wait for you then...”

13 years later

“(Y/n)! It's time to go! GET OVER HERE!” You heard your distressed brother yelling out for you. He was going to have his interview today, back in your old city. You felt your eyebrows twitch.

“BE THERE IN A SEC! CAN YOU AT LEAST WAIT?”

“YOU KNOW I CAN'T!” He yelled back. Well, at least your parents weren't here, and they'll be scolding you two again, like old times. Even though, that you two are now grown-ups.

You sighed. ‘What a weird dream... Or even a thought. But, what was that anyways?’ You thought. Little that you knew that... it was a memory that you've been missing out all this time.
