For the contest over at ! The theme was to get your favourite song and create somethig Pokemon-based on it.Soyes, self explanitory. The First of Autumn, by Enya... great song. Makes me pine for the warm weather. *Curses winter*

I like autumn best too! I'm really intrigued by how you drew Bayleef here. It looks so dainty here, like a horse or something, not anything like the hulking dino I normally see it portrayed as, though, I have nothing against that. I really like it! Great picture too. I really like the colors on this and how bright Bayleef contrasts with the darkness around it like that. I also like the lighting on this and how those leaves are done.

This is really beautifully done. Bayleef isn't drawn nearly often enough (Such is true with most neat PokΓ©mon, unfortunately) and you've done a wonderful job here! I love its plucky pose and expression, so full of life. You also shaded it very well, adding additional light and depth to the piece. The background is pleasant as well, and matches perfectly with the song the art goes with.

That's really awesome! The legs look a little too thin for the body though, and the head's a bit strange, but other then that, I like it.
