It's like you've been reading my mind for the past week!!!!! I can't believe it!!! I've been freaking out wondering how to get that pretty looking background. I've look at books, websites, and I've asked a bunch of my artsy-fartsy photography friends but they had no idea what I was talking about. I figure Christmas lights will work just fine but I can't seem to get my crappy new digital camera to focus on the object. But I think I'm going to try one more thing before I give up. Well, probaly because I have a canon 450 D and a 50 mm 1.2 .. And I am struggelig with the camera wanting to do the job for me, instead of me doing it. And im having problems with choosing my own focus.. Ive found some tutorials.. So when I have the time, I will try them out Oh, 100mm? Whats the typical use for a 100 mm?
