Description
Vitani left her mother and Nuka and headed towards the Training Grounds. There she found Kovu finishing up his final training with Imara and Kasi. Zira wanted to make sure Kovu could hold his own against any of the lioness's and also take them down by himself. He needed to be able to if he wanted to stand any chance going up against Simba and possibly any of the other members of Pride Rock.

Vitani watched as Kovu's opponents circled him. Kasi attacked first. She ran straight towards Kovu but dodged left when his paw came out to swipe at her. She slipped behind him and got him on his back leg. Kovu turned around to attack her but she was already out of hi reach. Kasi was the fastest one in their pride. If he isn't able to land even a hit on her then he has no chance going up against the Pride Lioness's.

Kovu stopped his attacks and instead just watched Kasi. He has to calculate her movements if he wants any chance in defeating her. He watches her front right paw. She favors it. Whichever way that paw points is usually the opposite way she is going to go. Her tail gives the same detail away too and a little extra. If her tail flicks in one direction twice in a row, she will go the opposite way the next flick.

Kasi started to circle Kovu again. He watched her closely. Her tail flicked to his right once. Twice. Her front right paw went to his right also. She was going to attack on his left. And she did. She was inches away from striking him in the face but he was able to dodge her last second and get right underneath her. He lifted her up into the air and slammed her back onto the ground. Kasi shouted her yield.

One opponent down, one more to go.

Imara sized up Kovu from her waiting spot. Even though she was the strongest out of the other lionesses, Kovu was still slightly bigger than her. Kovu attacked first this time. He charged at Imara head on with his attack. Imara was already on defense. Imara stood on her hind legs and backed up from Kovu's attack but he followed suite. He grabbed her side and started to push her backwards. Imara kept her balance. If she made one wrong step she would fall onto her back and Kovu would pin her and declare victory.

Kovu walked Imara backwards till she came closer to the rocks surrounding the area. Imara had to think fast. When she got close enough, she used her left back foot to get leverage on the rock then brought up her right back foot. She crouched down and push herself off the rock and over Kovu's body. Kovu fell forward against the rocks as Imara landed right behind him. She turned around and jumped onto his back. Kovu roared as her claws sank into his skin. He twisted and turned to get her off but she wouldn't budge. Kovu was losing his stamina the longer the fight went on. He had to finish it fast.

With one last idea, Kovu stood on his hind legs one more time and moved back over to the rocks. He turned his back towards the rocks and slammed Imara against them. The first hit made her winced but she didn't loosen her grip. Kovu did it again but harder. Imara roared. The pain was getting to her. Kovu backed away one more time and slammed Imara's back against the rock with all his strength. She finally let go and fell to the ground in pain.

Kovu stood over her as she coughed and groaned. He turned her over and pressed his paw onto her throat. Imara gasped and clawed at Kovu.

"Yield." Kovu told her.

Imara growled at Kovu. She didn't want to give in. Kovu pressed his paw harder onto her thoat. Imara's vision started to go spotting and soon black.

"F-f-fine. I y-y-yield." Gasped Imara.

Kovu released her and she turned over on her side and started to cough and gasped for are. Kasi ran over to her side. Kovu watched the two as Vitani came over to him.

"Very impressive brother. Mother will be happy to hear you almost killed our strongest lioness." Vitani said sarcastically.

"She had plenty of time left before she would fall unconscious, let alone die." Said Kovu. He looked over at Vitani. "Why are you doing here anyways? I thought you were supposed to be at the High Point keeping watch."

"I was. I'm not needed there anymore. Mother is home and wishes to see you." Vitani started to walk out of the Training Grounds.

"She's home already? I didn't think she'd be back this soon. Did she say anything to you when you talked to her?"

Vitani stopped walking. "The plan is in motion. So I suggest you clean yourself up before you see her. You can at least try to look like a prince without having dust and termites in your hair."

Kovu scrunched up his face. "I don't have termites in my hair."

"Huh, could've fooled me." Said Vitani. "Imara. Kasi. Get back to the den. Zira is waiting for everyone."

The four lions traveled back to their den to see their leader.
