What do you prefer? colouring it black and painting the iris colour onto it or colouring it the iris colour first and adding the black pupil?

I add the black pupil first and then add the colors Why ?

Curious =3 I add in the iris color first, then add the pupil in. That way when it comes to highlights, it goes over the pupil.

Going pretty well I understood quite a bit from it, like how to scan properly and use the scanned pages as lineart Pity I like linearting manually Do you use the paintbrush on page 2 though?

Well I do lineart on Photoshop too and don't use the scanned pages as lineart because my sketches are way too messy... but I think it's because I can't the second step of p1 I don't have the proper material to do that.

Concerning the paintbrush, I don't think it's the same but it's a very similar one.
I'm happy you can understand the main things ! Did you already give it a try ?

That's me all over! When I'm doing digital art, I can't make my sketches good enough, without stray bits of pencil lying around or the paper scratches from the pencil xD Glad Mashima can do it though xD

Not yet, right now I'm linearting a sketch, and when I do that, then I'll give the 'Mashima method' a shot
