I dont understand what happens in everything. lol. All thes characters always start out with short-ish hair and then they grow it longer, but if they have more than 1 comic/picture done then they must already have long hair from the previous one. So do they get it cut? what happens?

I know the long hair is the main feature, but I have to say, it's something about Hikari/Dawn, that somehow, looking at the swimsuit you gave her, it would be entirely plausible that even on the beach, she'd still feel the need to wear the world's shortiest skirt.
Grrr... Skirt... Why do I let that thing irk me so? It's like Kitsurubami from FLCL obsessing over Amarao's eyebrows...

Dawn. Also Drybones suggestion sounds amazing. You could do the same thing where she's wearing a bun or something as well. And then have it all fallover her.

Well here is what I am picturing. She is wearing her hat and it appears to be getting bigger but her hair is actually just getting longer and fuller until it shots off and continues to grow to your usually massive lengths.
