Description
My first large-scale attempt at making an animated gif. I probably should add more frames and make the coils move more next time I try something like this.My next gif will be of a pendulum swinging.

Not a fan of hypnosis but this is a very cute animation indeed~ Try to focus more on character acting when animating stuff like this. For example sakugabooru.com/post/show/3750… sakugabooru.com/post/show/3714… sakugabooru.com/post/show/3709… sakugabooru.com/post/show/3691… Notice the characters body moving more "fluidly" and not TOO stiff. But overall very nice animations! Keep making more okay?

Oh wow hey don't be that way! Look your animations are super cool no kidding^^ Yeah this is me trying to be encouraging but at the same time don't you wanna improve? Get better? Go beyond? No harm in studying more and more animations, looking into different styles. Things take time, nothing's ever easy but if you love to do it then it works out in the end^^

Not bad, you're getting the hang of it. As you said, more frames so it animates more smoothly.
Also, you don't have to make the resolution quite so big. Look at mine or for an example.
