Hi again! We’ve got the final redesign in terms of shadow people done.
I doubt many people are still around from 2016/2017, but this guy is from around that time. I only uploaded one picture of him in a collage(?) of other characters (most of which have already received redesigns I think). He used to be called Devon but it does not fit him at All. His new name is Feign. Did not expect his new name to be that but it is. I made him worse morally, how fun.

I’ve already attempted a redesign once before but I scrapped that and now we have this. I wanted to keep him visually pretty similar to his original design and keep the 3 forms, but I modified them a tad.

His mist form is mainly used to move around somewhat undetected. What is shown is about how human the shape will be usually as it does shift a bit. It can be small or be weird shapes that move. He can’t really do all too much while like this. He can still touch things but the actual force and pressure is small. If he were to stand still, you could put your hand through him as his essentially smoke/mist.

The other two forms of sorts are when he’s physically there. His eyes and tendrils, which he can summon up to 6, although 4 is normally all he needs ( I also just didn’t want to draw 6 because of when he’s angry) are blue and smooth. When he’s angry, his eyes shift to red and spikes appear. These spikes can cause a lot of harm, both to him and whoever he’s tormenting.

Anyway, he has a short temper but he tries to push that down/bottle it to maintain his nice facade, at least at first. He can be nice, genuinely nice, but that all depends on his mood and if he likes whomever, which normally isn’t the case. Even with people he likes his temper is still short. His eyes give away his mood first and often can be seen flashing red if he’s getting angry or annoyed. He tries to get others to do things, usually is something like harming others in a sort of possession type of state as he is a demon and can do that. He can pretend pretty convincingly to be nice, saying sweet little things and maybe even helping with talks of a deal. He might torment other family members and say he’ll leave if they do something in return. He patience will run thin though if repeatedly turned down and that’s when he really starts to torment the person/persons. He has repeatedly been cast out of homes but he always returns to another. He might get into moods to merely mess with people, especially if he enjoys someone enough to not want to necessarily hurt, but even then he should as soon as possible be cast out as he is not one to be trusted and could still decide you’re boring. Isn’t one to straight up kill somebody without first toying with them unless he really just hates the person.

The spikes can and often do hurt him if he moves in certain ways, although if he’s really angry he won’t really notice in the moment. If somebody finally ticks him enough, his voice changes to be more sinister and you’ll see all the spikes appear, etc.
The appear starting from his back and working their way up to the ends of the tendrils. Very similar to the aliens from Captive State ( m.youtube.com/watch?v=A3yrtArn… from around 2 minutes onward is when what I’m talking about shows up).
I also did a small animation to show it. It’s bad and it’d probably be a bit quicker normally, although I imagine it could go slower or faster depending on how fast his anger builds. It gets the point across but I recommend watching the clip to see what I see in my head.

I think that covers the basic gist of him, but questions are always welcome.
Funny how what was really self indulgent at the time is now this awful being, seems about right but he’s still self indulgent. Oh well.
