I've been inspired by Peanuts, lately. No, not the snack; the comic strip, I mean.As usual, I fall for the girl with the glasses. This time it means Marcie. Her friendship with Peppermint Patty has always been seen as "more than just friends". Well, I dunno, but they sure are close friends.
So what happens when Peppermint Patty attempt to play a prank on her friend? This is a series of strips in classic Peanuts' format. Hopefully I manage to nail Schulz's style corrently enough.
Stay tuned for more; this little arc will take a few more strips!

I've always hated April Fool's jokes because some idiots just don't know when enough is enough. This is a terrible gag that Patty played on Marcie.

Siempre me ha parecido Marcie un personaje de muy poca o nula autonomΓa (muy rara vez se la ha visto relacionarse e interaccionar con otros personajes que no sean Peppermint Patty, Charlie Brown o Snoopy) y personalidad (hace casi todo lo que le dice su amiga, aΓΊn sin estar convencida y se enamora del mismo chico que ella)
Esta tira que has hecho demuestra que Marcie tiene una gran dependencia de Pepermint Patty y que su ausencia serΓa una catΓ‘strofe para ella...
Y luego Schultz decΓa que Shermy era el peanut sin personalidad por excelencia...

All those who want equality for women should look at the example with Peppermint Patty. Marcie constantly addresses her as "Sir." Normally, that would be a way to address a gentleman. Peppermint Patty should accept it. At least with Marcie, the salutation, "Sir," knows no gender. You want equality for women, here's your example!
