I promised myself I would redo this after finishing the picture I made of Fantine megbeth.deviantart.com/art/Fan… because I felt that was the one where I REALLY figured out how to shade skin and clothes properly!

Yeah...
that was quite a while ago, wasn't it??

Since then, I've gotten better with skin shading and whatnot... I have been nursing this picture for MONTHS... A redrew it and was doing it little by little... and it is done AT LAST!

Also, I was... actually considering posting OVER the original I did... like, LITERALLY, I was SOO close to doing it; I had already uploaded this file and written how sorry I was to those who liked the original in the description edit... how, aside from the eyes and skin, nothing else about that pic was worth keeping...
That is, until I remembered just how damned PROUD I was of it; it was one of my first pics with the tablet... it was actually my first realistic human portrait I've done digitally... EVER!!
Sooooo... sentiment saved it from being wiped

So now I have both:
My first, real digital human drawing...
And, a more updated one that utilizes some of the skills I've learned...

And now, I'm even more proud of it than I was before now that I (sorta) know what the heck I'm doing!

It took a LOOOONG time... but I am very, very, VERY happy with this!
