I just feel like sharing this: in the (movie/stage) musical, Jean Valjean spent the last of his days in the Convent... and I really liked that; ending his journey where it began sort of thing... it may be a tired, old, fairy-tale like cliché, but, sue me. I really like it

Oh, I know...
It's all so sad; Victor Hugo did that a lot; he killed off characters you ended up loving but let the ones you WISHED would die skip off... more often than not, that's how it played out...
We will miss Jean Valjean... but at least he lead a long and rewarding life, right?
