This is just the outline of one of many pics I'm working on; spent a long time doing it... those hands were the bane of me
There are gonna be other "elements" to this...
like...
hard to explain, but I'm gonna be drawing Marius and Cosette separately in this... just wanted to get these two out of the way first... 'cause they took the longest

What the crap is my obsession with this blasted ending?!

I love the heart breaking part when he's all alone. I love the warmth and comfot he's given from Fantine. I love how he TOTALLY lights up once he sees Cosette again. I love how tender Cosette is to him. I love his modesty when Marius says what he did. I love how he admits he only knew love after caring for Cosette. I love how he passes so peacefully with the ones he loves. I love how Fantine takes his hand and guides him. I love that we get to see the Bishop again.
AND I LOVE THE LINE "TO LOVE ANOTHER PERSON IS TO SEE THE FACE OF GOD"

Again, even if you don't share the same belief system, COME ON! This is basically promoting all the goodness in life and how showing kindness and love and all the goodness in humanity really is it's own great reward.
